Abstract:
In this seminar, I will introduce some of the basic physics ideas that lead to great discovery and ultimately winning Noble Prizes. In general, these ideas are commonly introduced in Physics 101 and 102 courses.
Biography:
Professor Khalil Ziq obtained his BSc in Physics from The University of Jordan in 1980, and his MS and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois-Chicago in 1985 and 1989 respectively.
His main research interest is in Superconducting and Magnetic Material. He enjoys teaching and designing experiments and new introductory and advanced physics concepts demonstrations.
