The growing interest in Aluminium-Doped Zinc Oxide (AZO) stems from its potential application as a TCO for solar cells. This study delves into the impact of the concentration of Doped Aluminium on AZO, exploring properties like band structure, electronic conductivity, absorption, and reflectivity at varying doping concentrations, employing a first-principles method based on density functional theory (DFT).

Transitioning from petroleum to solar energy in Saudi Arabia holds enormous promise for both economic and environmental sustainability. Located in the Sunbelt, the Kingdom has great potential to harness solar power and reduce its reliance on finite fossil fuels. The Typical Meteorological Year (TMY) model has a crucial impact on this transition by providing valuable data on solar radiation patterns and climate conditions, enabling careful designing and optimization of solar energy systems.
