Abstract
I will tell a brief story about nuclear burning stages starting with the combustion of hydrogen and helium, passing through carbon and oxygen, and ending with silicon and iron. At these last elements, the collapse of the star’s core will occur. I will describe this collapse based on two-dimensional relativistic explosion models.

Electrochemical Analysis of TiO2-based Photoanodes In Dye-sensitized Solar Cells

Abstract: 
Energy crises are the main issue of our planet, Earth. To convert sunlight into electricity. I synthesized TiO2 nanoparticles using the Sol-Gel method and then fabricated TiO2-based Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells. The crystalline structure and crystalline size were determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD), which proved the Tetragonal structure and having a crystalline size within the nanometer range, confirming the synthesis of 1 to 100 nm range nanoparticles. The band gap of TiO2 nanoparticles was determined with the help of Photoluminescence Spectroscopy. Cyclic Voltammetry and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) analysis were used to check the electrocatalytic activity of the redox reaction in an iodide electrolyte solution. Cyclic Voltammetry gives us anodic and cathodic current and peak-to-peak potential between both peaks (∆Epp). EIS measurement tells us about the charge transfer resistance and response time during the cycles. Tafel measurements were taken to check the corrosion current in electrodes.

Ion – Beam Technology

Abstract: 
Ion Beam Technology is an advanced and versatile scientific methodology that utilizes high-energy streams of ionized particles to enable both the precise analysis and controlled modification of materials at atomic and molecular scales. The ion beam analysis encompasses techniques such as Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry (RBS) and Particle-Induced X-ray Emission (PIXE). The material modification by ion beams depends on both the material properties as well as the ion parameters including energy loss, penetration depth, fluence, and charge state. In addition, ion implantation in various depths is used in various applications including semiconductor manufacturing. Moreover, the ion solid interaction can lead to surface nanostructring as well as controlling the electrical, optical, magnetic and mechanical properties of the various materials.  Ion beam technology has also shown its unique application by providing ion beam cancer therapy, opening a new era for curing several cases. The talk will cover the basics of ion beam technology as well as the associated applications.
