Research Interests:

I am interested in exploring novel topological phases that arise in the presence of periodic driving and/or strong interaction effect, as well as their potential advantages as quantum technologies, particularly for the development of the sought-after quantum computers.

Biographical Sketch:

Dr Bomantara received his PhD in Physics from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2017 and did his postdoctoral career at University of Sydney until August 2022. He joined KFUPM as an Assistant Professor of Physics since September 2022.

  • Materials Research Society of Singapore medal for the best PhD thesis in NUS Physics Department (2018)

  • Full-time Teaching Assistant award for AY15/16, AY16/17, and AY17/18 at NUS
