Research Interests:
My research focuses on applied nuclear techniques with emphasis on radiation shielding and radiation protection. I explore applications to enhance material performance under radiation exposure, utilizing PGNAA to detect trace elements, assess environmental impacts, and support the development of safe and sustainable nuclear technologies.

Biographical Sketch:
I earned a B.Sc. in Physics (1995) and an M.Sc. (1998) from Yarmouk University, Jordan, and a Ph.D. in Experimental Nuclear Physics (2007) from Texas A&M University, USA. I served as an associate professor at Hashemite University, Jordan (2007–2018) and has been a faculty member at KFUPM since 2018.
